Year Three in the Pink
22/02/2012

The children from year 3 had a fun time on their first day back at school after half term. They were visited by Charlotte Wake, Dental Therapist of the Year 2011 and Dr. Heidi Osborn from 66 Dental located at 66 Station Road, Petersfield. After a lively discussion about good and bad foods the children got down to the really serious business of using disclosing tablets to find out just how well they were brushing. Everything went pink all of a sudden- lips, teeth and most excitingly tongues! The idea was that the tablets would show the children where they need to brush a bit more carefully by colouring the nasty old plague red. It seems that most children in year 3 are expert brushers- hardly any red was seen at all.
Even better, all children had recently seen a dentist which was very good to hear. Keep up the good work year 3 and your lovely smiles will stay that way for years to come!
