New fashion in Haslemere

Helen and Kate opening their new store with Haslemere Mayor Jim Edwards

On Saturday 4 February, Hengelo had its Official Opening Event. The new ladies boutique on West Street was taken over in September by sisters Helen and Kate and they have since given the shop a full make over transforming it into a warm and inviting boutique. 

Helen said "we wanted to enhance what is already a beautiful old building. We kept the old wooden floor boards and installed a new ceiling with antique chandelier and in addition added soft furnishings and luxurious changing rooms. Our aim is to sell an eclectic mix
of clothing, shoes and accessories in a relaxed and easy-going environment where everyone feels welcome."

The sisters have lots of plans for the shop over the coming months, including developing an online shop which would enable them to broaden their product offering even further. Kate said "we have some fantastic new brands coming to us this year, many of which are British made and manufactured; in this current climate it is very encouraging to see designers using British materials wherever possible and we are excited to bring great products to our shop!"
