Life is a rollercoaster

25/04/2012

Steve Jacob and members of the Round Table Team
Thursday 12 April saw Steve Jacob ride Paultons Park’s Cobra 36 times with colleagues James Marshall and Peter Robinson of the Round Table.

Steve explains, "Two hours later and after the roller coaster of physical emotions; excitement, joy, nausea, pain, boredom as well as getting drenched by a hail storm, we came out the other end!”

Steve travelled the equivalent of ten miles by rollercoaster to mark his last day as the Petersfield Round Table chairman and raise money for the Round Table Children’s Wish charity that makes wishes come true for children with life threatening illnesses.

Steve’s challenge follows a range of fundraising activities completed by the RTCW, encouraging people to raise money by travelling as little as 10 miles in an ‘unusual way’

"I cannot thank all of you enough who have already donated as I have collected so much already, but if any of you out there still need another nudge, please put your fingers to the keyboard and donate a few pound so that we can make some wishes come true.”
