First BIG meeting of 2012

Tuesday 24 January saw the businesses of Grayshott gather for the first BIG General Meeting Business at the Fox & Pelican. During the meeting the businesses covered a number of topics including the proposed removal of the Grayshott bus service.
The businesses agreed that a protest should be lodged against the proposed removal of the bus service running through Grayshott. Individuals were encouraged to make representations to the District/County Councillors and their local MPs and Adrian Banwell of Grayshott also stated that he will represent BIG’s view to Councillor Ferris Cowper.
Gordon Sanderson of St Luke’s Church and Scout group, also made an appeal during the meeting for a new Scout Leader. Anyone interested in the position were encouraged to make contact with the Grayshott Scout Group. Gordon Sanderson also announced that on February 11 there would be a quiz night in aid of the Scouts and a music event at St Luke’s Church on February 24 (ticket price £10.)
Finally the meeting discussed the litter pick due to take place on Saturday February 11 at 10 am. Those wanting to get involved should assemble in the car park adjacent to Peter Leete.
Four - six volunteers will be required and those wishing to take part sgiykd state their intention via either Grayshott.com or ab@myrecruitmentspace.com.
Next meeting will be 6pm Tuesday 24th April in the Fox & Pelican
