Damien Hirst's "For The Love of God"
|
Love or hate him, Damien Hirst's work certainly packs a punch and people have been flocking to see his recent exbition at Grayshott’s GalleryOne. Running in parallel to Hirst's prestigious exhibition at the Tate Gallery, London, GalleryOne have once again brought a taste of high level art to Grayshott.
GalleryOne's exhibition includes several signed limited edition prints from "The Souls"
series; transient, beautiful butterflies that shift with the light on their delicately coloured foil blocks. "For The Love of God", a silkscreen print with glazes and diamond dust.
Hirst has always been more cool than high brow, but his exhibition at the Tate has forced the art world to reconsider his work and see beyond it's shock value, discovering a more thought provoking basis from which his ideas arise. GalleryOne's exhibition presents you with an opportunity to make up your own mind about Hirst - prepare to be amazed.
This exhibition continues until 28 April 2012 and is free to visit.
All work is available for sale and can be viewed at www.gallery-one.co.uk
