The inaugural Grayshott Market proved a great success, attracting scores of visitors from far and wide.
Organised by the Grayshott Square Events Group and sponsored by Grayshott farm shop and restaurant Applegarth, the market on Easter Saturday (19 April) enticed more than 1,000 visitors.

The Royal School in Hindhead hopes to encourage scores of young green-fingered gardeners to Grow For It on Saturday 10 May.
A wildlife and gardening experience for families with children under 11, Grow For It will once again welcome well-known gardener Alan Titchmarsh who, with support from the RHS, will be on hand all day to help children plant up their hand-painted plant pots with strawberries.

Haslemere Museum has set its sights on a bright future following fresh funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

A major move to revitalise and rejuvenate The Herons Leisure Centre in Haslemere will start next Monday (14 April).
The investment by Waverley Borough Council, which is in the region of £3.9 million, will begin with work affecting the gym, squash courts, dry changing rooms, health suite, café, crèche and soft play area.
